Our Heart

We recognize that intimacy with God is at the center—that everything we do flows from our worship and love for Him. Our desire is to pursue a growing union with Jesus, a deeper experience of the presence of the Spirit, and an increased sensitivity to the Father’s heart. The depth of this relationship enables us to hear and speak His voice and to partner with Him to lead others into the healing, wholeness, and restoration He offers through relationship with Him.

As an authentic expression of the body of Christ, we seek unity with each other while maintaining the beauty of diversity among the body’s members. We are committed to loving each other in truth, to encouraging one another and building each other up, to serve, equip, bless and release God’s people to deploy on the seven mountains of culture.

We seek to make disciples not only by declaring the gospel of salvation in Christ but also by demonstrating the good news of His kingdom in every area of society. Our prayer is that His kingdom would come and His will would be done everywhere on earth, just as it is in heaven.

Our History

Daystar Church was founded in the late 1990’s by Johnny and Elizabeth Enlow, and though we have met at various places and times, our mission has remained the same: to prioritize God’s presence in our lives and further the work of His kingdom on earth. In 2012, Johnny and Elizabeth transitioned away from the Atlanta area to continue their ministry revealing the heart of the Father and equipping believers to fulfill their destiny on the seven mountains of society. Daystar continued to meet first as a church and then as a parachurch ministry under the direction of a pastoral leadership team.

After many years of Daystar being led by a Senior Leadership Team, Joel and Carol George began stewarding Daystar in 2021. While Daystar is smaller and currently does not have the capacity to offer as much as it has in the past, we believe God is not done with the network of people who have come through Daystar over the years.  Our heart is to continue to provide opportunities to pursue Jesus, unity in the body and means of empowering His people to step out into their callings to impact this world.
